1 ½ lb. apples, cored, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks
½ cup water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
In a medium saucepan, add apples, water and lemon juice. Cook covered on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes until apples are soft and water is evaporated. Take pan off burner and let cool. When cool, blend in a food processor or blender until it reaches the consistency you prefer. Cool completely and store in a sealed plastic container for up to one week.
